Having become increasingly concerned with the the waning attention being paid to the crisis in Haiti a group of concerned citizens in Portland, Oregon decided to get together to combine efforts to do their part. Realizing that their ability to affect change, almost half a world away, was limited they directed their talents toward raising both funds and awareness.

Valerie Wallace is an artist and educator. She created this original design around the Haitian national motto, "L'Union Fait La Force," or Unity Creates Strength.
